Interesting Endorsements for Ron Paul

I was reviewing a list of people that have endorsed Ron Paul's presidential campaign and I found it interesting. Here are names which I found most interesting:
  • Co-founder and former CEO of PayPal, Peter Thiel
  • Blues Guitarist Jimmie Lee Vaughan
  • Singer/Songwriter Derrick Webb
  • Folksinger Arlo Guthrie
  • Actor Emma Caulfield (Anya on Buffy Vampire Slayer)
  • Blogger Andrew Sullivan
I found Arlo Guthrie's comments to be among the most interesting: "I love this guy. Dr. Paul is the only candidate I know of who would have signed the Constitution of The United States had he been there."

John Perry Barlow & Ron Paul on PBS

PBS had a pretty interesting show not long ago. First, they ran a story on Ron Paul's campaign. Then they interviewed John Perry Barlow, a lyricist and co-founder of the Electronic Frontier Foundation. Barlow spoke of something Kurt Vonnegut came up with, the idea of having a Minister of Future in the cabinet.

Here's the written summary from PBS: "NOW explores how the Texas congressman and his supporters are using the Internet to attract voters -- and massive contributions -- from across the political spectrum. Plus an interview with online civil liberties activist and former Grateful Dead lyricist John Perry Barlow."

Here's the clip.

New Perspective on Ron Paul

Douglas Wilson has a posted about a New Perspective on (Ron) Paul. The post is a bit hard to follow, but quite witty and overall pretty supportive of Ron Paul.
