I love CSN as much as the next guy, but Stephen Stills is plain wrong. There have been millions of blues songs written that are hilarious, and intentionally so. Buddy Guy, BB King, many of the biggest names in blues have done funny blues songs.
I understand that he was just trying to put down the outbreak of laughter for the benefit of those that were listening. Too bad he had to propagate such a misunderstanding of blues in order to do it.
